A LEGACY OF SPORTING EXCELLENCE

Hong Kong's Home of Sport

Built on the site of the city’s former international airport, Kai Tak Sports Park is the largest sports venue in Hong Kong. Occupying 28 hectares in the heart of Kowloon, the precinct opened to the public in March 2025 and has already established itself as the home of major sport and entertainment in Hong Kong.

It is a venue of global recognition, named one of TIME Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places 2026. In its first year alone, the Park surpassed 200 event days, welcomed more than 840,000 sports participants and received its one-millionth spectator. Anchored by the 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium — with its retractable roof and Victoria Harbour views — the precinct also houses the 10,000-seat Kai Tak Arena and the 5,000-seat Kai Tak Youth Sports Ground.

The Arena has already hosted international tennis at the elite level, staging the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) Hong Kong in October 2025 — an eight-player showcase featuring Andrey Rublev, Alex de Minaur, Nick Kyrgios and Hong Kong’s own Coleman Wong. This is the environment our players now call home.

TENNIS AT THE HEART OF THE PRECINCT

Purpose-Built Courts

As the official tennis programme partner at Kai Tak Sports Park, HKCTA Tennis Club Powered by Australasia Tennis delivers structured junior and adult coaching on three outdoor hard courts within the North Garden precinct.

The courts are purpose-built for training, community play and warm-up during major competitions. Equipped with a misting cooling system and spectator seating, they are designed for year-round use in Hong Kong’s climate. This is tennis at the centre of a precinct that has already generated more than 52,000 member visits and nearly 140,000 hours of community sports participation.

A COMPLETE SPORTING DESTINATION

Far More Than a Tennis Court

The Kai Tak experience extends well beyond the court. The precinct is connected by the covered Kai Tak Sports Avenue — a pedestrian walkway stretching from Station Square to the Dining Cove on the Victoria Harbourfront.

Within walking distance, players and families have access to over 150 retail outlets and around 80 dining options across three Kai Tak Mall buildings. The precinct also features a wellness centre, Hong Kong’s largest covered climbing wall at 17.5 metres, a 40-lane bowling centre and a family playground. Two MTR stations on the Tuen Ma Line — Kai Tak Station and Sung Wong Toi Station — are each within a 5 to 10 minute walk, with over 60 bus routes and a ferry connection from North Point providing additional access.

A GROWING TENNIS COMMUNITY

Where the Sport Develops

Kai Tak Sports Park sits at the heart of Hong Kong’s commitment to community sport. The Park’s outdoor courts are managed by professional sports organisations tasked with delivering training programmes, regular competitions, community events and youth development initiatives — all designed to encourage public participation and strengthen the local tennis ecosystem.

For those seeking serious competition, the venue is registered with the Hong Kong, China Tennis Association for league play. HKCTA Tennis Club Powered by Australasia Tennis fields teams in the Junior Team Tennis competition from this venue, building a competitive pathway for the next generation of players.
