About

The home of tennis in Hong Kong. Backed by over a century of heritage, delivered with the coaching expertise that develops players for life.

BUILT ON OVER A CENTURY OF HONG KONG TENNIS

Where It All Began

The Hong Kong, China Tennis Association has been at the heart of tennis in this city since 1909. Over more than a century, it has grown the sport from private club courts to a territory-wide movement — nurturing players who have competed at Wimbledon, won Grand Slam junior titles and represented Hong Kong on the world stage.

Today, HKCTA oversees more than 40 affiliated clubs, 4,000 individual members, 8,000 registered players and 600 courts across Hong Kong. It is recognised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) as the governing body for tennis in the territory. From recreational social play to elite international competition, every level of the game in Hong Kong flows through HKCTA.

HKCTA Tennis Club is where that heritage meets the community. It is the association’s public-facing programme brand — bringing structured, high-quality tennis coaching to Hong Kong’s newest sporting venues for players of all ages and abilities.

A NEW CHAPTER FOR TENNIS HK

Two Landmark Venues, One Programme

HKCTA Tennis Club currently operates at two of Hong Kong’s most significant new sporting venues:

Kai Tak Sports Park — Hong Kong’s largest sports venue, named one of TIME Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places 2026. Three outdoor hard courts within the North Garden precinct, at the centre of a 28-hectare sporting and entertainment destination in Kowloon.

Go Park Sai Sha — A 1.3 million square foot sports and commercial complex designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, nestled between Ma On Shan and Three Fathoms Cove. Six ITF-standard outdoor tennis courts spanning 44,745 square feet, set against the green hills of the New Territories.

These venues represent a deliberate expansion of tennis infrastructure in Hong Kong — and HKCTA Tennis Club is here to ensure that the programmes running on them meet the standard that the sport deserves.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Tennis is a Sport for Life

We believe tennis builds more than technique. It builds confidence, resilience, decision-making and a sense of belonging. It teaches children how to compete with integrity and how to recover from setbacks. It gives adults a physical and social outlet that stays with them for decades.

Our programmes are designed around this belief. From a three-year-old picking up a racquet for the first time to an adult returning to the court after years away, every session is structured to develop the whole player — technically, tactically, physically and mentally. We follow international ball progression standards (Red, Orange, Green, Yellow) for juniors and offer graded programmes for adults at every level.

The game has been played in Hong Kong for over a century. HKCTA Tennis Club exists to make sure the next century is even stronger.
